By accessing or using Fridgify ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Fridgify is an AI-powered recipe generation application that:

Recognizes ingredients from photos using computer vision
Generates personalized recipes based on available ingredients
Provides recipe recommendations across multiple cuisines
Offers ingredient management and recipe saving features

3. User Accounts

3.1 Registration

You must create an account to use certain features of the Service
You must provide accurate and complete information during registration
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms

4. User Content

4.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service (photos, ingredient lists, etc.)
By submitting content, you grant us a license to use it to provide and improve the Service

4.2 Prohibited Content

You may not upload or submit:

Illegal, harmful, or offensive content
Content that infringes on intellectual property rights
Content containing viruses or malicious code
Spam or unsolicited promotional material

5. AI-Generated Content

5.1 Recipe Generation

Recipes are generated by AI and provided for informational purposes only
We do not guarantee the accuracy, quality, or safety of AI-generated recipes
You are responsible for verifying recipe safety before cooking

5.2 Food Safety Disclaimer

Always check food safety guidelines and expiration dates
We are not liable for any illness or injury resulting from recipes
Consult professional dietary advice for specific health conditions

5.3 Content Moderation

We reserve the right to remove, modify, or restrict access to any recipe that violates public order and good morals
Recipes containing content that is offensive, inappropriate, or contrary to social ethics may be deleted without prior notice
Users who repeatedly generate inappropriate content may have their accounts suspended or terminated

6. Subscription and Payment

6.1 Free and Premium Plans

The Service offers both free and paid subscription plans
Features and limitations of each plan are described in the app
Free plan includes basic recipe generation with usage limits
Premium plan includes unlimited recipe generation and advanced features

6.2 Subscription Pricing

Monthly subscription: Billed every month
Annual subscription: Billed once per year at a discounted rate
Prices are displayed in your local currency and may vary by region
Prices are subject to change with reasonable notice

6.3 Billing and Payment

Payments are processed through Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android)
Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date
Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
Payment will be charged to your App Store or Play Store account at confirmation of purchase

6.4 Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription anytime through your device's subscription settings
iOS: Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions
Android: Google Play Store > Subscriptions
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
You will retain access to premium features until the end of your paid period

6.5 Refunds

Refund requests are handled by Apple (iOS) or Google (Android) according to their policies
Contact Apple Support or Google Play Support for refund requests
We cannot process refunds directly as payments are handled by the app stores

6.6 Free Trial

We may offer free trial periods for premium features
Trial automatically converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled
Each user is eligible for one free trial only

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our IP

The Service, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by Fridgify
Our trademarks, logos, and branding may not be used without permission

7.2 Third-Party Content

Some content may be provided by third parties
Third-party content is subject to their respective licenses and terms

8. Privacy and Analytics

8.1 Privacy Policy

Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

8.2 Analytics and Usage Data

By using the Service, you acknowledge that we collect anonymized usage data to improve our Service:

Usage Analytics: We use Firebase Analytics to understand app usage patterns. User IDs are anonymized using cryptographic hashing.
Session Recording: We use Microsoft Clarity to record screen interactions and identify usability issues. Sensitive content is automatically masked.
Attribution Analytics: We use Eodin Analytics (in-house SDK) to track app installation sources, measure marketing campaign effectiveness, and analyze user lifetime value. No personally identifiable information is collected.
Opt-Out: You can disable usage analysis at any time via Menu > Usage Analysis in the app.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND
WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE LAST 12 MONTHS

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Fridgify from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

Your use of the Service
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of any rights of another party

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via:

Email notification
In-app notification
Update to the effective date

Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Termination

12.1 By You

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings

12.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your access if:

You violate these Terms
You engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
We discontinue the Service

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Your Jurisdiction], without regard to conflict of law principles.

14. Dispute Resolution
